About LeBoss

Building surfboards came into my life two decades ago as a natural progression into a deepening love for the waves of Oregon, and the rich surfing community we are so lucky to have here. After a nearly fatal motorcycle wreck and a long recovery, I found a new lease on life and health through surfing. With a passion for learning and a desire to personalize the craft under my feet, I quickly began shaping boards for myself. Under the masterful and generous tutelage of local legend, Tom McNamara, I learned the many skills behind glassing and the many challenges of keeping a surfboard factory afloat. In 2019, I opened the LeBoss Surfboards factory in South Beach, OR, and began building boards full-time.
